HOW TO REPORT:

Service Delivery Issues in Ward 56

Before You Start

The main reporting platform is:

Service delivery issues must be reported through the official City of Tshwane reporting channels.

  • Your Ward Councillor cannot log municipal queries on behalf of you, the residents.
  • Residents must report the issue themselves, receive a municipal reference number, and keep that reference number for follow-up.
  • Once an issue has been officially reported, the councillor can assist with follow-up, escalation, identifying repeated failures, and holding the responsible municipal departments accountable.

Important: Report First, Then Escalate

Please do not only send the issue to the councillor on WhatsApp.

A WhatsApp message is not an official municipal report.
A Facebook comment is not an official municipal report.
A direct message is not an official municipal report.

Report the issue first.
Get a reference number.
Escalate if the City does not respond.

The Correct Reporting Process

Report the Issue Officially

Use the official City of Tshwane reporting platform or the correct municipal reporting channel.

Get a Reference Number

A municipal reference number is essential. Without a reference number, the issue cannot be properly tracked, followed up, or escalated.

Escalate if the Issue Is Not Resolved

After receiving a reference number, keep it safe.

If the City does not respond within a reasonable time, the reference number can be used for follow-up and escalation.
